California Privacy Notice
Effective date: February 9, 2026
This California Privacy Notice (“Notice”) applies to California residents (“Consumers”) as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”). Cicrim Consulting (“Cicrim,” “we,” “us”) provides advisory and technology services for financial institutions and related organizations. This Notice describes (1) the categories of Personal Information we collect, (2) the purposes for which we use it, and (3) the categories of third parties with whom we disclose it for business purposes.
Under the CCPA, “sell” generally means disclosing Personal Information to a third party for valuable consideration, and “share” generally means disclosing Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Cicrim does not sell Personal Information for monetary consideration. California privacy rights
Subject to certain exceptions, California Consumers may have the right to: (1) know the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we collect; (2) delete Personal Information we collected from you; (3) correct inaccurate Personal Information; (4) opt out of the sale or sharing of Personal Information; and (5) limit the use or disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information (if applicable). Rights requests are subject to a verification process. We will not fulfill a request unless we can reasonably verify your identity (or the authority of your authorized agent) and confirm the request relates to Personal Information we maintain.
Do not sell or share rights
Cicrim does not sell Personal Information for monetary consideration. We may use certain cookies and similar technologies for analytics, security, and measurement. In some cases, these technologies may be considered sharing under the CCPA when used for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where applicable, you may opt out through the mechanisms below.
- Use the cookie management tool available on our website (when presented) to disable non-essential cookies and similar technologies.
- Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies (note: Blocking some cookies may impact site functionality).
- Use platform-level privacy controls (for example, device-level ad measurement or personalization settings) where available.
- If we enable third-party analytics, we will provide appropriate opt-out methods consistent with that provider’s controls.
Notice Concerning Do Not Track. Do Not Track (DNT) is a browser setting intended to signal a user’s privacy preference. Because there is no widely adopted industry standard for DNT, our site does not currently respond to browser-initiated DNT signals.
Sensitive Personal Information. Cicrim does not collect or use “sensitive personal information” for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you, and we do not use Sensitive Personal Information for purposes that would require a right to limit under the CCPA in typical website interactions.
Nondiscrimination and financial incentive programs. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights. We do not offer financial incentives for the collection, sale, or sharing of Personal Information through our public website.
California Shine the Light disclosure. California’s Shine the Light law permits residents, in certain circumstances, to request information about disclosures of certain categories of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Cicrim does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
